Our Small kitset layout is designed specifically for the following vans:

  • Nissan NV200
  • Nissan ENV200

As with most design work, the smaller the space the more imaginative you need to be! So, we created a super unique system for the little vans based around two French Cleat tables. This allows our little Nissan NV200 to be a bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen in just 2.7 square meters!

Our small kit is also compatible with the ENV200, which is perfect for anyone looking for a completely electric, self-contained campervan. With recent improvements to EV charging infrastructure, its is now a completely achievable and green way to travel NZ.

This little Nissan offers an easy driving van, easy to park, easy to maneuver and easy to camp in. Its the ultimate weekend warrior!

As with all VanLab kits, we have designed our small kit for Inside/outside use. If the weather is nice, flick open the tail gate and slide the tables back for an outside, rear kitchen. If the weather is less nice, slide both tables to the top rail and you can sit inside, with a full width bench at your hands..

On this small van, we utilized a French cleat system which allows two tables to be slid along a top and/or bottom rail. This provides a bunch of configurations; both tables up top = mobile office. Both tables down low = bed. Half and half = perfect setup to watch a movie. Both to the back = outside kitchen.

Kitchen Area: We feature a compact kitchen unit, designed to store single-burner camping stove (recommended for outdoor use only), a 21L thermoelectric cooler (electric chilly bin), 15L sink, 25L of fresh and grey water tanks and then space for cutlery, crockery, glasses and mugs, knives, utensils, and pans. 

Living/Sleeping Area: The bench seating and tables convert to a king single bed (105cm x 185cm) so it is a cosy set-up, but perfectly comfortable for two. The bench seat doubles as storage too.

Self containment: Like all VanLab kits, the Small Kit can be certified self-contained. There are 25L fresh and grey water tanks, a hand pump tap and small sink in the kitchen unit. The portable toilet is stored under the front bench and can slide out for use, even when the bed is set-up.

Storage: The total storage is 578L

Electrical: As with all VanLab kits, our Small van is compatible with our integrated wiring loom. You can fit either a 100Ah or 120Ah leisure battery, with Voltage Sensitive Relay (VSR) connection to the start battery. This means 'charge while you drive' and auto-disconnect when you stop. Our loom comes with 3 x LED lights, 2 x voltmeters, 2 x double USB chargers, fridge power socket and additional fused outputs for auxiliary supply. We can also fit a range of 230V inverters for appliance charging.
